Well I had my first exam in Linear and Im rather happy with the results. I didn't get a grade back but i know i did well on the exam thanks to the Mid term review to which I am extremely grateful for. The most challenging thing for me was setting up matrices based off of models, I still am not 100% on it and it reflected on the exam but Im an ace with Matrices. I've had several years of experience with them through grade school so it was just re learning them to this point. Overall I'm super happy with my progress in this course.

Ten weeks to go... It feels odd to say this. The semester has only just started and were already one third of the way through (with the exemption of finals week and spring break.) That being said I finally checked out that Rockwall inside the gym by Cozis pizzeria. What a blast that was and a great stress reliever, it allowed me to meet some nice new people then the regular party crowds also.

Also I learned a valuable lesson this week, always prepare early. I ran into a scheduling issue with homework because I anticipated a time for how long it was going to take me to finish homework and it backfired in my face. I waited till the last minute and not only did it effect that one class but it caused a domino effect and eventually hurt me across the board. LESSON LEARNED. Just when you think you have it all figured out you don't, Im glad I learned though.

Week 4 of the new semester, I've been getting really into the Eagles Pandora station again. Next time Im at home Im going to pick up my guitar and bring it out to Philly I miss being able to play during down time especially when we get a snow day.

I started making a cook book, if you could even call it a book there's one recipe in it haha but its titled "Broke-Ass Recipes : College Edition"

Anyway I made some pretty good chili here's the recipe:

Recipe:
2 - lbs. ground beef or turkey
2 - onions
2 - bell peppers
1 - clove of garlic
2 - 16oz. cans of baked beans
2 - 16oz. cans of black beans
2 - 16oz. cans of chili beans
1 - 16oz. can of diced tomatoes
29-32oz. can of tomato sauce
1.5 table spoons of chili powder
1 table spoon of black pepper
1 table spoon of salt

optional:
0.5 cup of mustard
1.5 cups of BBQ sauce
1.5 cups of cooked/chopped bacon strips

- Cook the ground beef or turkey in a frying pan with finely chopped onions and peppers and add seasonings
- Drain grease and put everything into the crock pot, add all other ingredients and set the crock pot for on high for 3 hours "SET IT AND FORGET IT"

Hopefully you'll like the chili, and you'll probably be bored with it after the week of eating it hahaha

MEE Blog post 02

Im going to start a rating of my personal performance every week as a way to study myself. Im going to score myself out of ten on these topics:

1.) 7 hours of sleep per night?
2.) Active, Exercising?
3.) Social interaction
4.) Down time
5.) Homework completion

This weeks rating:
1.) 7/10
2.) 3/10
3.) 9/10
4.) 2/10
5.) 9/10

This week was interesting, I've made a ton of new "acquaintances" (to early to call them friends I might scare them away haha) which is surprising to me. This would be the first time everyone I've come in contact with is open to the idea of making new friends and getting to know people. Definitely helps me feel at home being in a new city.

Also i decided to check out some of the local food trucks and have to say after trying two, the burger tank, and a pizza truck, the burger tank definately has my vote. Im from New Jersey and there is no comparison to the pizza we have there. If you ever want a REAL slice of pizza go to the boardwalk on the jersey shore to a place called Maruca's by far the best pizza.

Tune in next week, or not, up to you! haha
