MEE Blog Post 01 - Introduction

This is my first blog post ever so bare with me, I am 22 years old and currently studying mechanical engineering at Temple University and this is my first semester here! Nothing but warm welcomes have come to me and Im excited to kick off the new year with a new life here in Philadelphia. With that being said I do miss my home town in NJ, and with out it I most certainly don't think I would be here. Toms River afforded me valuable education which many citizens there do NOT appreciate. I took the more relaxed route went to community college and worked to pay my way. While many of my friends went away to college and spent absorbent amounts of money on a liberal arts degree Im happy I can say I currently do not have any education debt. You may ask what have I done in all that spare time since I graduated highschool? I figure its easier to just throw it as a couple bullet points so here you go!

  •  WORKED ALOT: I have worked as an HVAC installer, Carpenter, Target Employee, Waiter and food prep at a Comedy Club, and the most educational to me Teller at PNC bank (1st salary position)
  • STUDIED ALOT: I have been taking college level courses every semester including summer quick terms since 2012. And finally have a piece a paper that says I know something! (Associates in Mathematics)
  • Bought a car!
  • Bought a motorcycle!
  • Learned how to Ski
  • Got my boating license
  • Bought some "Bear Arms"
  • Found out I enjoy hiking
  • Started weight training
  • Found out I Loved Philadelphia
  • Sold the motorcycle
  • Applied to Temple
