MEE Blog Post 13

The final blog post for my linear class, this semester flew by once I got back from break. Its been an eventful semester with more downs then ups but it'll be finished up next week and ill finally be able to enjoy a summer. For the past three years I've taken summer classes and this year I've decided to take a break and just slow it down a bit. Before I know it'll be my graduating semester from Temple University.

I learned a lot more from my linear systems class then I honestly thought I would. Dr.Ferrar taught me how to think outside box a little more and how to make life easier by using mat-lab. Blogging helped calm the nerves and also see that I'm not alone, everyone in the class pretty much experiences the same amount of stress for college. I will continue blogging, probably not every week but defiantly when important things happen in my life, ill have to change the blog page though im not satisfied with the layout.

My project is not going to well, at least the mat lab portion. I have most of it completed but i'm sure one of my values isn't suppose to be negative. The overall idea of the project is to compare a single zone air conditioning system of a two floor structure to a dual zone air conditioning system of the same dual floor structure to see which one is more cost effective for the buyer over a longer time but its becoming troublesome. I have three different matrices to solve for the whole house one 10x10 of the single zone system, and two others 5x5 for the lower and a 6x6 for the upper. Its become a nightmare but it seems to be working out.

I thought the test went over rather well, I changed my pace and was able to study several days in advance. Then I went back to the review the night before the exam and worked out everything one last time. I think my performance on this test vs the last test was better overall. I made simple mistakes last time that cost me points.

MEE Blog Post 10

On to the second project, I have several ideas in mind with my group but we are still in the works to figure out which real world idea is most beneficial to analyze and measure. We had ideas of measuring the differences between grip on two different wrenches (channel locks and a vise grip.) The second idea is measuring different psi of water plumbing for a house compared to a building. Were still undecided and need to work it out this weekend.
